Members of the Chittenden County Republican Party hail from 17 towns within Chittenden County.
Upon their election, town chairs shall be members of their county
committees. In addition, each town shall elect two delegates to the
county committee plus one additional delegate for each 100 votes, or
major fraction thereof, cast for the Republican candidate for Governor
in the last General Election.
Towns may elect alternates to the County
Committee up to the number of delegates they are allowed.
One of the important functions of the Chittenden County Republican Party is to help recruit candidates to run for the State House of Representatives and the State Senate.
We also provide election support to any candidate seeking office, as a Republican in Chittenden County.
